Project: Extensive ceiling mural and three large-scale tiled murals

Commissioned by The Salt Room and interior designer Karen Taylor of PatternHaus, I created an extensive hand-painted ceiling mural and three large-scale tiled murals as part of the restaurant's interior and brand refresh.

The ceiling mural flows from the private dining room through to the restaurant entrance, featuring a collection of bespoke seabird illustrations designed to complement the new visual identity and celebrate the restaurant's coastal location. Three custom tiled sea creature murals, based on my original concepts, create striking focal points within the entrance and cocktail bar areas.

Drawing inspiration from Brighton's coastline and maritime heritage, the artwork was designed to strengthen the connection between the interior and its seafront setting. Working closely with the design team, I developed a series of integrated murals that enhance the restaurant experience and contribute to the distinctive atmosphere.
